Abstract
Past literatures on generation Z's e-lifestyle assumes that it is imperative as well as desirable for SME performance in the digital era to be able to stay competitive in the global business. Though much has been written about the need for SME performance improvement but not sufficient progress has been made to ascertain the upshot of generation Z entrepreneurs' e-lifestyle on the SME performance in digital era. Hence, the purpose of this study is to explore the upshot of generation Z entrepreneurs' e-lifestyle on Bangladeshi SME performance. In order to do so, a structured survey was conducted to collect opinions of 180 generation Z SME owners in Bangladesh. The data is analyzed and hypothesis is tested by using IBM-SPSS-AMOS package 25.0. The study found that the direct effect of generation Z entrepreneurs' e-lifestyle on SME performance is positive and significant ((3=.961, P=.001). The originality of the manuscript goes back to studying the concept in an emerging country, i.e. Bangladesh. Based on the result, this research recommended that, there is an undeniable need to be more formal about e-lifestyle of generation Z entrepreneurs and which will ensure better SME performance in line with consistent growth of Bangladeshi GDP in the current digital era.
