Abstract

Epiphrenic oesophageal diverticula (EED) are out-pouching of the esophageal lumen, located at the distal of the esophagus. In all esophageal diverticula, only less than 10% categorised as Epiphrenic oesophageal diverticula and the estimated incidence is about 1 in 500,000/year. Oesophageal Candidiasis commonly occur in immunocompromised patient however, Oesophageal diverticular Candidiasis are very rare and only 1 case report has been published for Oesophageal Diverticular Candidiasis.
