Abstract

This study aimed to know the role of Islamic media in combating Covid-19 from the Viewpoint of the students of Ajloun University of Jordan. The researcher used the descriptive analytical method, and the data was collected through a questionnaire designed by the researcher to achieve the goal of the study. The study sample was chosen randomly, which included (500) male and female students from members of the original community. Statistical analyzes were performed such as mean, frequencies, percentages, analysis of variance test. The results indicated that the formative role was more effective compared to the protective, preventive and curative roles. The results indicated that there were statistically significant differences in favor of females in the role of Islamic media in combating Corona, and that there were no differences attributed to students' specialization. Also, the findings of the study showed that the constitutive role is the most affective than the preventive and curative roles; the results showed that there is a significant statistical differences, for the favor of female students, in the educational role of Islamic media, and there is no significant statistical differences could be attributed to the specialization of the students.
