Abstract

High school students possess multiple intelligences, and teachers must deal with each of them with special methods and strategies in the identification, development, enrichment and evaluation. Therefore, this study aimed to know the extent to which secondary teachers possess the competencies of dealing with the linguistic intelligences of their students from the point of view of educational supervisors in the governorate Al-Mafraq / Jordan. To achieve the objective of the study, the descriptive approach was used to prepare a list of secondary teacher competencies to deal with the linguistic intelligence of their students. The questionnaire was distributed to a random group of (10(supervisors. The study has reached a number of results, the most important of which is to determine the extent to which secondary teachers practiced the skills of dealing with linguistic intelligence from the point of view of supervisors. The mathematical meanranged from (2.12) and (2.19) Where the competencies of identification ranked first with the highest arithmetic average of (2.19), while the general competencies and the competencies of Assessment in the last rank with an average of 2.12, and the average arithmetic of the tool as a whole (2.15), and the study came out with a set of recommendations as, hold workshops to develop the competencies of teachers to deal well with the multiple intelligences of their students.
