Abstract

Social media is one of the most important thing in teen life in secondary schools students. Students in high school lost a lot of time on social media where many of studies said that social media has serious psychological effects on them, so this study follows the descriptive approach and the inductive method to read literature review which provides that serious psychological effects, and how we face these effects. The results are using social media without control leads to the increasing in the rate of depression among students. Also, there is a big deference ambition in teenagers level. Some studies proved the positive effect for social media, and another studies proved the negative effect. Thus the study recommends an educational program for adolescents and also activating the role of parents.
